Description
A drawback that finishes with a flam instead of a plain step. Spank the right foot back and drop the left heel, then put the right foot down with a flam: a step and a heel so close together they almost sound like one. Four sounds, travelling backward like a regular drawback.

Practice Tips
- Keep the right ankle loose as the foot comes down for the flam. A stiff ankle makes the heel arrive late, and the flam turns into two separate sounds.
- Get the plain drawback rhythm solid first; the flam should add a tight extra sound without delaying the step.
