Description
A tiny, fast three-sound shuffle played with the ball of the foot. First the outer edge of the ball tap hits the floor, then the leg straightens for an instant so the ball tap flicks a little to the side, and finally the ball taps down in place or slightly toward the other side.

Practice Tips
- It only works with a very relaxed ankle; any tension stops the sideways brush from sounding.
- Keep the side brush tiny. It comes from the leg straightening for a split second, not from a big swing.
