Pendulum Riffle

Description

Two riffles on the right foot that swing back and forth like a pendulum shuffle. The first riffle (brush or touch, heel dig, spank) finishes crossed over the left foot, and the second swings the foot back out to uncross. The left foot holds the weight the whole time.

Practice Tips

• Keep the first two sounds of each riffle clearly separate, especially on the crossing one.
• If sounds keep dropping out, shift where you play each riffle slightly to the right or left until both ring clearly.
