Description
Brush the ball of the free foot forward, then tap that same ball on the floor without putting weight on it. It sounds like a flap, but the weight stays on the standing foot, so the slapping foot is free to move again right away.

Practice Tips
- Lift the foot as soon as the brush strikes; a brush that drags along the floor smears into the touch.
- Check that you could lift the slapping foot straight after the touch. If you can't, you have done a flap.
