Description
An Irish with a shiggy bop in place of the hop. Shuffle the right foot, then the left (standing) foot scuffs forward and digs, and the right foot steps down. Five sounds. Because the shiggy bop is also called a shovel, this step is also known as the Irish Shovel.

Practice Tips
- Let the left foot come up off the floor after the scuff; if it stays low, the dig lands too early or gets lost.
- Learn the plain shiggy bop first, then put the shuffle in front of it.
