Description

A riffle that runs straight into a cramp roll. Riffle the right foot (brush, heel dig, spank), then step onto the right ball, the left ball, drop the right heel and finally the left heel. Seven sounds in an unbroken run, ending with weight on both feet.

Practice Tips

  • Keep the first two riffle sounds apart. At slow and medium tempos, press a little harder into the first one or meet the floor at a steeper angle so they don't blur.
  • Don't let the first cramp-roll step crowd the spank; aim for seven evenly spaced sounds.
