Description
Shuffle the right foot, hop on the left, step onto the right, flap the left, then step onto the right again. That is one side (counts 8& through 3&). Weight ends on the right, so the next one mirrors it with a left shuffle on 4&. It follows the same pattern as the buck single time step, except it opens with a shuffle where the buck version has a stomp. It can be danced straight, as written here, or swung (8 a1 2 a3 a).

Practice Tips
- Keep the heels off the floor through the whole phrase so every sound comes from the balls of the feet.
- In the swung version, don't let the spank drift late; it has to land just before the hop.
