Description
A riff followed straight away by a step, all on the right foot: brush it forward (or touch), let the heel dig as the foot travels, then step down onto it. Three sounds and a change of weight. Don't mix it up with a flap - the dig adds a sound between the brush and the step.

Practice Tips
- Don't let the foot float up after the riff. Drive the ball straight down into the step, or the step will drag behind.
- Practise it slowly as three clear, even sounds before building speed.
