Description
Spank the right foot back and drop the left heel, then finish with a frap on the right: a quick brush-and-dig riff that goes straight into a step. That's five sounds, ending with your weight on the right. It opens like a drawback (spank, heel), but the drawback's last step becomes a three-sound frap.
Breakdown
- Spank

Practice Tips
- As you speed up, smooth the rhythm out so the five sounds roll evenly instead of swinging.
- Right after the dig, push the ball of the foot straight down for the step instead of lifting the foot first; lifting is what makes the last sound late.
