Description
Do a riffle with the free foot (brush forward, heel strike, spank back), then put that same foot down on its ball and shift your weight onto it. That makes four sounds. Because the weight changes on the step, the next riffle step starts on the other foot.

Practice Tips
- The heel sound in the middle tends to rush into the brush. Practice at a slow tempo so all four sounds fall evenly on e & a 1.
- Place the step right under your body after the spank; reaching back for it makes the step late and throws off your balance.
