Description
Dwing is short for dig + wing. The right heel digs at the same moment the left foot scrapes out to start a wing, and then the left foot spanks back in and lands. In a regular wing both feet scrape, spank and land together. Here only one foot wings, and the other foot's dig shares the first sound.

Practice Tips
- The dig and the scrape must hit at exactly the same moment. If they split apart, you hear an extra sound and the step turns into a dig followed by a wing.
- Get a clean one-foot (single) wing first, then add the dig on the free foot.
