Description
Swing is short for step + wing. The right foot steps at the same moment the left foot scrapes out to start a wing, and then the left spanks back in and lands. Unlike a regular wing, where both feet scrape together, only one foot wings, and a step on the other foot shares the first sound. It is the Dwing with a step instead of a dig.

Practice Tips
- The step and the scrape have to land as one sound. Practice slowly until you can't hear two separate taps on count 1.
- Don't let the step pull the weight so far across that the wing has no lift; stay centered so the spank and landing stay clear.
