Description

An Irish pullback that finishes with a flap instead of a step. Shuffle the right foot, do a single pullback on the left (spank it back as it leaves the floor and land on it again), then brush the right foot and step onto its ball. Six sounds, with the weight ending on the right.

Practice Tips

  • Keep the left knee bent for the whole shuffle; straightening it early makes you spring into the pullback too soon.
  • Keep the brush of the flap low and quick after the pullback landing so it doesn't lag behind the count.
