Description
Standing on one foot, spring up and backward off it. As the foot leaves the floor, its ball spanks the floor, and then you land on the ball of that same foot. It's the one-foot version of the pullback: two sounds, the weight stays on the same foot the whole time, and the step travels backward.

Practice Tips
- Keep the ankle fairly relaxed so the ball of the foot can catch the floor as it pulls back.
- Push off backward rather than straight up. The travel is what gives the spank room to sound before you land.
